Sires, Donors, Semen, & Embryos
Our breeding program is really developed around using AI and embryo transfer but we use some of our developing bulls on certain breedings for testing of our genetics and as a backup. We have been very careful in the selection of sires and our donors and use Dr. Charles Hannon DVM. of Donor Solutions for our flushing . Our embryos are grade 1 and frozen but we can accommodate you with direct transfer or pregnancies if you wish. We do multiple and single sire breedings from the Angus Braunvieh, and Maine breeds.

Donors
The emphasis of our herd, as it should be in any herd is in cow power. Great cows make great calves that develop into great bulls & heifers. We breed for strong maternal traits, docility, and eye appeal. From the very best we select for our donor program. It has taken us several years in selection and breeding to get to this point and we use part of our herd and contracted dams as recipients. We see embryo transfer as a excellent tool to develop top genetics in high numbers to create entire herds and as a tool to lower the cost to customers of acquiring animals.
MIF Grace
Grace is a very maternal dam with
a good udder and a daughter of our matriarch dam SC Emmy and Elvis and greatly
resembles her mother.
She had a 82 lb BW and carries a BW EPD of -1.9 She was Reserve Grand
Champion at the KC Royal and several class winners in '08 and Grand Champion
cow/calf pair at the World Beef Expo in '09.
MIF Chloe
Chloe is also a daughter
of SC Emmy and TLC Bud. She is very maternal, yet thick and correct like most
Bud daughters and had a BW of 82 lbs and a BW EPD of .5
MIF Mary Agnes
An embryo mate to Chloe, Mary
Agnes is another example of quality in the Bud daughters and more refined than
Chloe. She was the champion breed heifer in the '08 Farm World Beef Expo,
Reserve Grand Champion Heifer in the '09 World Beef Expo, and class winner in
the '09 NAILE. She had a BW of 65 lbs and a BW EPD of .5
SC Emmy
This is where it started. Emmy
has been the foundation to our fullblood Braunvieh program. She is just an
excellent example of a maternal dam that can pass on all the traits we want. She
is no longer in service but was the baseline we used to develop our sires and
dams to our program and a tribute to the breed.
TLC Bud's Bess
Bess is a Pure bred Braunvieh that atypically throws dark to black offspring
and generally black and polled daughters. We have sold several heifers out of
her and all of her offspring are very docile and thick.
EVF Kruger Trend
"Sweety" as we called her, was a
powerfull and thick individual with great milk and growth traits. She only threw
one daughter for us but some tremendous sons. She had a very successful career
as a show heifer and we currently have a few embryos
from her and a mating of TLC Ike in recips and just a few embryos left. She is
no longer in the herd.
Craft New Design
1407-208
"Kattie" is an example of
best in Angus genetics. Very maternal, excellent udder, and eye appeal. A
daughter of Bon View New Design and Ms Battle Cry she has produced some
excellent sons and daughters for us and is now entering our donor program.
Embryos
We do flushing periodically
and if you wish something in particular let us know asap to
accommodate your needs. Embryos costs normally start at $250 + each and discounts for
3 or more.
Give us a call for details these and future flushes and availability.

Craft 1407-208 (Katie) x
TLC Ali's Vincent (Vinny)
This mating is a 3-way cross
of Angus, Braunvieh, & Maine. The donor is a daughter of Bon View New Design and
Battle Cry, ranked high in the Angus breed and has a lot maternal traits and eye
appeal. The sire is a son of the famous Ali and Starline Veronica a spectacular
Braunvieh dam.
MIF Grace Lynn x Silverwood
Dragon
This is absolutely top fullblood genetics
in the Braunvieh breed. Our MIF Memphis is of this same match up and we have
several others on the ground proving their performance. If your looking for your
next fullblood heifer or bull here's your chance to own the best.
MIF Grace Lynn x Sting/Uree
*
This a multiple sire mating once again
with Grace and a primary sire of Sting, a Chi, Maine, Simmy, Angus crossed bull.
He is a Heat Wave son out of a Full Flush x Meyer dam. This mating should
produce an amazing combination of thickness, mass, & class.
The secondary sire is Uree, a fullblood Braunvieh that would compliment Grace in
Braunvieh genetics.
Bud's Bess x TLC Turk
This is
Bess is a dark Braunvieh dam who generally
produces top quality black or near black and polled heifers. Our MIF Jayden is
an example - thick, black, & hairy. Turk is well proven as a leader in south
western shows and pastures and has a lot of top heifers. This mating is suitable
for show ring contenders and excellent F-1 dams.
MIF Chloe x Turk/Dager
*
Another multiple sire mating with Chloe, a
really thick Braunvieh heifer that we really like. So much that we held her to
flush rather than breed to calve. Bred to Turk the primary sire which should
give us really thick and structurally correct calves.
The secondary sire is Dager another Bud son for fullblood Braunvieh calves.
MIF Chloe x Gucci/Mr.
Surpreme
*
Another multiple sire mating with Chloe
and Gucci an up coming Purebred Maine offering calving ease and hair. This
should also give really thick and structurally sound calves.
The secondary sire is Mr. Supreme who produces some very classy fullblood
Braunvieh calves.
EVF Kruger Trend x TLC Ike
"Sweety" as we like to call her is a black
registered Angus that is as thick as it comes. She has traditionally produced
bull calves and we crossed her with Ike, a polled and black Braunvieh. We have
had these calves on the ground several times and they are always very stout and
thick calves. We currently have several of these embryos in recip dams for April
this year and we only have just a couple of these embryos left.
*We have used totally
different sire types to distinguish calves from one sire to the other and to
develop more than one type of progeny. This process is not uncommon in natural
breeding and having a totally different cleanup bull. In most cases the primary
bull will sire all the offspring.
